UK & International Partner Awards 2025: Meet the Artists
About this grant
This year, 12 artists have been awarded UK Partner Awards, and five have received International Partner Awards. Selected from a highly competitive field of over 288 applications, these awards champion innovation, amplify diverse disabled voices, and create opportunities for groundbreaking work to thrive in collaboration with arts and cultural organisations. [...] We’re delivering these awards in collaboration with 11 partners from across the UK’s arts and culture sector. In England, our partners include Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture / City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council, Liverpool Biennial, Norfolk and Norwich Festival, Oxford University Cultural Programme, Sadler’s Wells, Southbank Centre, and Wellcome Collection. In Scotland, we’re working with Imaginate and Summerhall Arts, and in Wales, our partners are SPAN Arts and Tŷ Pawb. [...] This year’s commissioned artists work across a range of art forms: 29% theatre, 24% combined arts, 18% dance, 12% visual arts, 12% other, and 6% music.
They are based across the UK with 64% in England (24% in the South East, 18% in the North, 12% in London, and 12% in the Midlands), 18% in Scotland, and 18% Wales.
