BFI funding: The BFI is the leading film agency in the UK, and they have multiple funding strands, supporting filmmakers with over £26 million per year. The funding pots available include the BFI Development Fund, BFI Production Fund and BFI Completion Fund, covering the different aspects of the filmmaking process. There’s also an international fund to boost worldwide film production and distribution. [...] Regional funding bodies: If you’re based in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland, you can access funding from the relevant regional organisation. There are also different funding pots for filmmakers in specific parts of the country, such as the Yorkshire Content Fund and the Liverpool City Region Production Fund.
