Supporting individual artists and creatives in the UK with unconditional financial Fellowships since 1993 The Arts Foundation Futures Awards 2023: Place Writing Jury Announced Each year we invite established professionals, subject experts and artists and creatives from across the UK to form part of the independent Jury that will select the Shortlisted Artists and Fellows of the Arts Foundation Futures Awards. We are thrilled to share that the Jury members of The Arts Foundation Futures Awards 2023 for Place Writing are: Claire Armitstead is Associate Editor (Culture) for the Guardian, writing across the Guardian and the Observer. She was previously literary editor and arts editor, and presenter of the Guardian books podcast. She was deputy chair of English Pen for eight years and is a fellow of the Royal Society of Literature.
