About this grant
### 📸 Production grant ✏️ Apply via annual open call each Spring 🗓 July–January 📍 No travel required 💲 7,500 USD awarded
The Inge Morath Award is given annually by the members of Magnum Photos to a woman or nonbinary photographer under 30 years of age to support the completion of a long-term documentary photography project. [...] The Arab Documentary Photography Program (ADPP) provides support and mentorship to photographers from across the Middle East and North Africa to amplify creative approaches to visual storytelling that challenge conventional narratives about the region. ADPP is a joint initiative of the Arab Fund for Arts and Culture, the Magnum Foundation, and the Prince Claus Fund, and has supported over 85 photographers since its founding in 2014. [...] We regularly partner with aligned organizations and media outlets to directly support photographers with assignment and distribution opportunities, offering nuanced and innovative storytelling on important issues. Photographers receive a production grant and editorial support from Magnum Foundation and the partnering organization, and are paired with mentors for all grants. Depending on the nature of each partnership, photographers are selected through a mix of open calls and nomination
