Offenders and Ex-offenders

We have funded specific work with perpetrators of domestic violence, sex offenders and older prisoners and others. We also support organisations which work for change within the criminal justice system. Projects funded include training in employable skills, literacy, a range of art-based projects, work with the families of prisoners, and a range of other activities. ### Case studies [...] The Foundation has recently updated its criteria within this programme, to have a focus solely on women. We will now focus only on women affected by the criminal justice system; and also on people who are in prison for violence against women. We will also focus funding on groups and organisations that work with people in prison for violence against women, including perpetrators of domestic violence and sex offenders. [...] We will consider applications to fund groups and organisations that work with women in prison and ‘through the gate’, female ex-offenders, and those women who are at risk of offending.
