New Music Creator Fund

About this grant

New Music USA supports new collaborative music projects through the New Music Creator Fund. The program can support creation, live or virtual performance, recording, and research or development activity tied to new work.

Eligibility

  • Individual music creators age 21 or older with at least three years of professional experience. Students are not eligible except ABD PhD or DMA candidates, and applicants must work with one to five collaborators.
  • Support for new collaborative music projects including creation, performance, recording, and research or development activity.
  • Rotating U.S. regional cycles. The page says South and West based applicants are eligible to apply in November 2026, while other regions follow different cycles.
