About this grant

The key criteria are musical talent and financial need.To be eligible you should be aged between 5 and 17, be living and studying in the UK and be an instrumentalist (unfortunately the AYM are not available for singers). Award winners will receive flexible funding towards musical costs and individual support, which may include mentoring, master classes with professional musicians, the chance to observe professional orchestras and other ensembles in rehearsal, free tickets to concerts and [...] Annual awards between £5,000 & £20,000 to visually impaired organists and other classical musicians under age 30. Funding for any musical activity in preparation for the music profession. Open to UK citizens only. No application fee.
