About this grant
Two scholarships, each of £7,500, will be available on an annual basis to assist graduates to pursue the MA in Poetry: Creativity and Criticism in the School of Arts, English and Languages at Queen’s University Belfast.
Scholarship One:To be eligible for the Scholarship an applicant must:
- You are or have been in receipt of a maintenance grant, a special support grant or a means tested bursary.
- You are in receipt of a means tested benefit such as Housing Benefit or Universal Credit. [...] Queen's is delighted to be among the 50 higher education institutions selected by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) to receive funding through the new AHRC Doctoral Landscape Awards. With match funding from QUB, 6 funded studentships will be available for 2026 entry.
Deadline for applications: Tuesday 13th January 2026
Students apply for study through the School of Arts, English and Languages. Full details will be released in mid November 2026.
