Music and Dance Scheme (MDS) The Department for Education’s Music and Dance Scheme currently enables exceptionally talented young musicians and dancers aged between 8 and 19 to access financial help for specialist education or training. [...] First introduced in 1999, the Dance and Drama Awards offer annual scholarships to exceptionally talented performing arts students studying at some of the country’s leading providers of vocational training in dance, drama and musical theatre. DaDAs are only available to students aged between 16 and 23, and who are studying for a Trinity College London (TCL) Professional Performing Arts Diploma at levels 5 and 6 at one of the 16 approved providers.
