About this grant

The BFI Doc Society Fund provides support of up to a maximum of £150,000 per feature documentary film or immersive non-fiction project in the form of grants. Assessment of applications for this funding will focus strongly on the talent involved, their progression, their relationship to the story they are telling as well as the creative ambition of the feature documentary project itself. [...] AiR Drop is a remote residency initiative designed to support moving image artists in England who lack access to essential facilities. This program brings high-end equipment directly to the artist’s location, allowing them to create, experiment, or complete projects over a two-week period. It aims to foster creativity and provide resources to artists who might otherwise be unable to work due to facility constraints. The program is free of charge, including shipping costs for the equipment.
