Arts Council England: Developing your Creative Practice

Arts Council England provides Government and National Lottery funding for the arts. Developing Your Creative Practice is a fund for individual artists in England to get money for career development. This might be for a course, mentoring, research and development, or anything else to support your professional development. There are 4 application rounds per year, and artists can apply for £2,000 to £10,000. Around £3.5m is granted in each round.
