Artist in the Community Scheme

The Bursary Award is offered as part of the Artist in the Community Scheme managed by Create. It is aimed at artists who have a track record of working collaboratively with communities of place or interest who are facing particular barriers and/or challenges in developing their collaborative socially engaged arts practice. This award is aimed at artists who have a track record of working collaboratively with communities of place or interest who are facing particular barriers and/or challenges in developing their collaborative socially engaged arts practice. In addition to the awarded amount, this bursary will offer bi-monthly mentoring support from Create, offer up to two mentoring sessions with one of the experienced collaborative socially engaged artists from the Artist Mentor Panel and supporting partners who will support the successful artist with up to two support meetings, where appropriate.
