Art Grants

About this grant

The program aims to foster international collaboration and artistic exchange by supporting the participation of visual artists in global biennials and festivals. These grants are available to both UK-based and international art organizations, biennials, and festivals, with international applicants needing to be located in one of the specified eligible countries (eight EU countries, numerous other European countries, and many non-European countries). The funding is intended to directly benefit [...] artists by covering costs associated with travel, the production of new artwork, networking opportunities, professional development, and the exhibition of their work through the partnering biennial events. Award range: up to £9,500. [...] The Call is an international competition for emerging artists and collectives under 35, inviting them to submit completed works that explore the relationship between sound and image. The competition has four categories: Experimental Visionaries, for live audiovisual performances; Screened Sound, for fixed-media audiovisual compositions; Young Pioneers, for mixed-media music with acoustic instruments and electronics; and a special category for students to create original music for a silent film.
