About this grant
Funding for Immersive Arts is provided through a collaboration between the UKRI Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC), Arts Council England (ACE), the Arts Council of Wales (ACW), Creative Scotland and the Arts Council of Northern Ireland (ACNI). Funding from Creative Scotland, ACW and ACNI is provided by The National Lottery.

## About the funding [...] We will be awarding £3.6 million in grant funding to artists based in the UK between 2024 and 2027. This will be made available through 3 rounds of funding opening in October 2024, Spring 2025 and Spring 2026, each round will be open to applications for 2 months. With the aim to fund over 200 artists. [...] We are excited to support artists in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland to explore the potential of immersive tools within their creative practice. Artists will have the opportunity to access a community of peers, training, mentoring and vital funds, to help get their ideas off the ground, and enable the growth of a supportive network of immersive arts professionals across the UK, and beyond.
Eligibility
- ✓ Individuals, small groups or organisations (10 employees or fewer), micro-entities, collaborations

How to apply
Artists can apply for funding in one of the three strands: Explore, Experiment and Expand. The application process is designed to be accessible, allowing submissions via text, audio, or video.
